What are dermal fillers? 

Dermal fillers are gel-like injections that restore volume under your skin.

What happens during dermal filler injections?

While you relax in the treatment chair, he cleans your skin and applies numbing lotion to reduce discomfort during the process. 

Then, carefully mapping out your injection plan, he places multiple small injections in your skin.

You may experience some swelling and redness following your injections, but there’s no need for downtime. However, Dr. Stanitsas recommends you refrain from strenuous physical activity for up to 48 hours to reduce the risk of bruising.

When can I expect results from dermal fillers?

You should see improvements in your look after your first dermal filler treatment session*. 

However, it will take time for your skin to rebuild its collagen stores, so results gradually improve over time. 

While dermal fillers last usually up to 18 months*, the effects will gradually fade. Dr. Stanitsas recommends follow-up dermal fillers if you want to maintain your desired look.
